FAQs

Is it important to buy from a manufacturer?

We believe so - but we manufacture! - Joking aside it does offer the consumer a greater degree of security. Many installers simply buy from whoever is cheapest that week - whilst this may reduce their costs - this saving is seldom passed on to the customer. By buying from the manufacturer you are missing out the middleman - and this could offer a saving.

It also raises the question of who is your guarantee actually with? By purchasing from the manufacturer you know you are dealing with someone who is familiar with your products from start to finish and your guarantee lies solely with this company. The usual legal process for a warranty is that it lies with the company that you paid - therefor if there is a fault with the actual product you have no recourse to the manufacturer if you purchased via a third party - you become dependant upon that third party to be able to fix your problem. Part of the service that you are buying when you purchase new windows & doors is the expertise of the company - so by buying from the actual manufacturer you are gaining access to expertise for the whole process - from design to manufacture to installation.

In an industry that doesn't always have the best track record purchasing from a supplier usually means that you are choosing a supplier that has made an investment into their business - which in turn usually means that they are intending to be around for a while. By buying from the manufacturer you are missing out the middleman - and this could offer a saving.
